Responding to a cry

The two buttons when your baby cries

When Dozzi hears a cry, your watch buzzes hard and lights up red with two choices — right on your wrist, no phone needed. Here's exactly what each one does.

On your watch: the cry alert

The screen turns red, the watch buzzes strongly to wake you, and two buttons appear:

CRY DETECTED
Baby Crying!
I'm Awake / Fed
Self-Soothe Snooze

I'm Awake / Fed

Tap this when you're up and on it. It acknowledges the cry and clears the alert — Dozzi knows you've got the baby, so it stops buzzing you (and your partner, in Smart mode).

There's a brief Response Time window right after you tap it where repeat buzzes are silenced, so you're not re-alerted while you're already getting up. Adjust it in Alert Timers.

Self-Soothe Snooze

Tap this to give your baby a moment to settle on their own. Dozzi goes quiet for your Self-Soothe window — then, if the crying is still going when the window ends, it alerts you again.

Set how long that quiet window lasts (default 7 minutes) under Self-Soothe in Alert Timers.

Good to know

• The same two buttons also appear on the Live screen in the phone app — respond from whichever is closer.

• The watch is the fastest way to respond — a strong buzz on your wrist and one tap, without reaching for your phone.

• If you don't respond, Dozzi keeps alerting for the length of the Cry Session so a cry is never missed.
